Rad support rods

On the rad support bars on the side that bolt the rad to the frame, at the frame are there lock washers on the top and bottom nuts or just one side?

Hi Andy I put locks on Both sides. On mine the top nuts were welded. It looks like mine had broken at one time. I rebuilt them. Hope that helps

Andy when your tightening them up watch your radiator position You have to compensate for the lock washers collapsing and there is not a lot of room there. Just to be safe I slacked off my gen belts so I could turn the fan and make sure everything clears. I had about a finger width between the radiator and the fan blade.

I have about 1/2 inch from blade to upper rad tank, dont think i can get much more out
