rear idler studs
« on: May 02, 2014, 12:46:41 PM »
Ive run into a road block searching for the rear idler sprocket studs. I have found 1/2 double ended fine/course in 2 1/4 length but the shoulder in the middle to double the length than factory. Can i use a course stud top to bottom with no shoulder? Maybe Bolts? Seems silly i cant find anything anywhere local to me

Just run a die on the ones you found with the tall shoulder to make the shoulder thinner.

I would go ahead and use the ones you found and cut the threads on down as far as you need to after you screw them in.
