plug connectors for the tail lights

here are the part numbers for the plug connectors for the tail lights

5078-42      2 pin,    one needed for the left rear tail light
5078-41M   1 pin,    three needed, 2 for the right tail light and one for the left.

put these numbers in a google search with=       connector taillight

there is also a later style, im not sure if they where used in halftracks.

i could be wrong on this but if i remember correctly.

the front fender mounted headlights use the same 2 pin connector as the left tail light.

then you would just need to get one of these things i think.  ( i dont have any of these headlights anymore so i cant verify)

Steve,

The socket in the headlight bucket is spring loaded and the plug that goes in it is solid. I guess if you use both of the parts you listed it will work but it is reversed from original. The socket is solid and the plug is spring loaded. I can get photos of my originals next time I'm at the shop.

Sockets shown on ebay are produced by Cole Hersee part #2356
