Spark plug wire set-high quality

While visiting relatives in Iowa I found a really nice set of spark wire wires at a store called "Farm and Fleet".  I've seen the Tractor Supply wires but they are made in India and look pretty sketch.  The Napa ones aren't black anymore and all of their electrical stuff is starting to be made in China.  The plug wires I found are black, solid copper core, and have heavy duty brass terminals.  Best of all, they are made in the USA by a company called "Tisco" and qualitywise, they look like the good old school stuff instead of the cheap crap that you're pretty much forced to buy these days.

those do look better than the ones i have listed. i had forgotten that the original wires had that 90 on the ends.

One of your referances shows a Tisco ignition parts kit(points, condensor, rotor, etc.) that looks awfully familiar at 1/3 the price of what I just paid at Napa.  The Deere distributor cap looks close too.  I wonder if these are good quality US made stuff also.  I see where they have a distribution center in Sparks that will work out well for us western guys.

I own a store in North Arkansas and we sell a lot of Tisco products, they do not make anything they are only a distributor.  They put their label over the original company, and call it USA because they bought it from a company in the USA, that does not mean all the parts are made here, be sure to look at the wires for the USA stamp, other wise it has come from China.  My area only has smaller tractors with 4 cylinder engines and all the new wire sets for them, which come in a box similar to the picture, are from China.  Depending on whether the item is old stock may determine from what country it came from.  That being said the wires are great, hard to find copper core wires.  Just be careful if you want USA made.

I figured that tisco was a repackager, but if it says made in USA, it is supposed to be actually manufactured here and not just re-labeled(of course I'm sure that no company has ever been unscrupulous like that!). Next time I'm over at the HT I'll look at the wire closely. I seem to remember them being imprinted with USA.  I try to buy US made anytime I can, regardless of the price.  People don't seem to understand that there's a difference between price and cost.  Price is money that you take out of your wallet to pay for something.  Cost is the total damage done to an economy/country in terms of lost jobs, lost skill sets, economy and knowledge to say nothing of the future security of the country.  Remember, if you don't buy anything your neighbor makes, he can't afford to buy anything that you make.
