anybody know where this one came from?

the market for selling halftracks and other military vehicles is very soft right now.
I'm curious if this one will bring the high prices we have seen in the past when listed on this site.

Don't know where it came from, but at least they didn't advertise it as an all original HT.

I talked to these guys a few months back and they said they had purchased another halftrack on the east coast and was having it shipped out to ca.  They buy and sell old cars and hot rods.  I guess they made a few bucks on the last halftrack that they turned so they are trying it again.   I am close by if anyone is interested and would like me to look at it for them.

Was this one of the batch of 3 tracks those guys were trying to sell as a package deal at tower park?

I know two of ther three mentioned at Tower Park used to be in Yreka, CA and were nice cab and chassis only models and were early M2's.

It looks like the M15 turned into M3 that was for sale on Craigslist in California last month for 45k. Repro armor, no roller.

There was a link on the G503.

Maybe flipping in the real world doesn't work like it does on TV?

I don't get it....A ht with homemade repro parts is now bringing more than the M16A1 that went on auction last week that is about 99% original armor and a working quad with dummy guns. Are people just getting dumber all the time?

Maybe have your friend try the GL auction site they seem to bring out the big money buyers as far as halftracks go.

He's not really that interested in selling it at this time, but if some one wants to give him big money for it he will sell it.
