Title: Sand Blasting

I was going to remove the dash so it was easier to clean up and prime but the anchor bolts are not budging.  Has anyone tried sand or crushed walnut blasting the dash and firewall while it was still in the H/T?  I know I would need to tape up the trans shifter so nothing gets down in their, but I would like the dash to look the best possible and that would mean blasting.  Ideas?

Heat! The old bolts in these things are amazingly good quality and with a little heat almost always come loose.
