WTS: Unrestored 1943 M16 Half-track
I have a running and moving 1943 M16 half-track that I've decided to sell in my search for the elusive M4A1 Half-track. The M4A1 has always been my favorite 1/2 track. If it does not sell, she'll be restored anyway.
M16 Specifics:
1943
All original armor:
cab
rear
fold-down
windshield
door top and bottom
Excellent condition sheet metal
Floors are in excellent condition
Fenders are not bent up
Winch drive line is complete and winch works
Which has cable
Rear Deck has the following brackets etc
Both floor mounted M2HB spare barrel brackets
Brackets for storage of 2 spare barrels on rear armor
Both 2 ammo box storage bracket bottoms and strap brackets for each side
Carbine Brackets
First aid Kit bracket
Antenna Mount
Pedestal Light Storage Brackets on passenger side
Grenade and Thompson Box mount brackets
All Gauges are there and in excellent condition
This track did not come with the voltmeter, only had a steel plate over it.
Engine is complete and running, will need a fuel pump rebuild.
Tracks are in usable condition
Bogies will need to be redone using the forklift style process.
Track has been blasted and epoxy primed, has some flash rust due to some thin coverage.
