Hello, what size and what type of fuel line is used from the fuel pump to the carb. Copper or steel.
Thanks

Steel

It's 5/16" OD. From the fuel pump to fuel filter assembly is 32".

I'm getting ready to make my fuel line from the frame fuel filter to the fuel pump. Does anyone have a good photo of an original line? The only photo reference in a manual is this one.

It looks like a hard line mounts to the top side of the angled bracket while the wiring harness mounts to the bottom side. At this connection a flex line then goes to the fuel pump. Correct?
Any help is appreciated. I will be making my lines on Tuesday.
Thanks for the help in advance. ;D

This is the fuel line that you(Steve) made up for me. I've installed it exactly like the old line came off. I redid the hard lines awhile ago and duplicated what was on the track. I don't know if this is how it was made in WW2. Mine was a 1953 rebuild into an M16A1 and as far as I can tell, the fuel system was original to the 1953 rebuild. There are 45 degree elbows on both the inlet and outlet of the pump. The pump and lines are tucked up out of the way and it is hard to get good pics, but I hope these help.

Her are the lines I had made up. If you want a set it is $50 plus shipping.

I can make more but will have to remove mine from my halftrack to do so. I have another person that has asked for the same. I will try and get this done in the next two weeks.
