Post by: 8683jb on May 20, 2017, 02:36:18 PM: I received my kit the other day from Then and Now Automotive. Very nice people to work with. The Stromberg kits are not inexpensive compared to kits for other carburetors (glad the half track only has one – my '41 Buick had 2 of them!). The kit has plenty of parts for various versions of the AAV Stromberg. USA-made, no less! Carburetor is all happy again and as soon as I get the fuel pump squared away, will run some gas through it. I sent them inquiry while ago, and they have a kit for fuelpump (kit number FPA70), but they couldn't find one for Stromberg carb. The partnumbers that i gave them should be right, they're from manual.

The cost was $230ish for the carb and the fuel pump was $135ish. I forgot the invoice to give an accurate price but this is close. Shipping was $16 for a large flat rate box. This was a few years ago. Still great prices.

Plus you don't have to pay shipping both ways, which is a big consideration anymore.
