I recently replaced my rubber windshield frame seals and had bought two rolls of material, but it turned out that one was sufficient. If someone needs to replace theirs, the extra roll is free to a good Home for Wayward Half Tracks. Just pay the mail. The seal is from McMaster-Carr, one which Steve-O had posted quite a while back, part number 1142A11. The cross section is close to the original, although the material is thinner than original. The flat part is also slightly wider than the original so you’d have to trim about 1/8” off. I just laid a 3/8” strip of .032 aluminum along the bead and trimmed the edge off with a razor blade. The hardest part was not trimming off my fingertips as I held the strip, but beside that it was pretty easy. Anyhow, I’ll donate it to someone else’s project if you need it.

Please, can you tell me how many feet of seal you needed to do two windshield frames?
Thank You,

Hey Mark! How's things in O-HI-O? I'll get you a measurement in the morning.
