Title: WTB Track armor and rear bumper
Post by: Dinadin on January 24, 2011, 08:16:31 PM
My friend has bought a project vehicle M3 and I am going to be helping him with it.  The cab forward is pretty complete, but everything behind the cab is either missing or incorrect.  So starting off I am looking for the track armor and rear bumper.  I have fabricated the track armor before, but if someone has some you parting out we maybe interested.  He may also need the cab doors.

Thanks

Hi I'm in the same boat. I've planned on fabbing my track armor. I've measured from another M3 but would like to confirm that my hole layout is correct. Did you make any drawings? Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks Don g.

No I didn't, we took the old plate marked it directly on to the new plate.  When I get to work on my track again, I will measure the record the hole locations.

Thanks I'm a couple months away from needing to build my track armor. I still have to shorten the frame. I hope I get the distance right.

Appriciate the help

Don you might try using the drivetrain to set the correct distance for you. As long as you have the correct driveshafts installed you should be able to connect it and set the distance correctly.
