These pictures bring a tear to my eye.

One of them is a scout car!

So, I wonder where these beauties are located and who has possession of them?

Some still have Jerry cans mounted on them.

I have a couple of photos of the yard where the army place 700 to 800 halftracks back in 1990. The halftracks were loaned to the french and were returned when they wanted to dispose of them. The yard is in Germany (need some army help on lacation), it is a tank range. The halftracks were to be used as hard targets. All the halftracks look to be rebuilt, winch model M16s.
PS, I am going on my old mind, so the number could be 400 to 600 halftracks....
One of the few, Frank USMC RET

can you post pics of them frank? that would be very interesting to see.
if the government liquidation.com site is any comparison then it would be impossible to get things like this from the us army. i once saw a 20 something cyl radial engine on there that was brand new that had to be destroyed before removing from the base. ???
