The PO purchased 2 Scout Car fuel pumps thinking they would fit the half track.
Would like to sell these or possibly work out a trade for a good half track pump.
PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Keith

OK...got to ask for my own education: what is the difference between a Scout Car fuel pump and a Halftrack fuel pump?
Asking for a friend (me).

So here is the difference. The fuel pump in manufactured by AC and is a type AJ pump. The difference is in the rocker arm. This is the arm that makes contact to the cam shaft and actuates the pump. It is the only difference.

I'm no expert by any means and am calling my pumps "scout car" pumps because
that's what they had been marked many years ago.
But the mounting flange was also very different than it is on my half track engine.
The photo below isn't a great angle but you can see the mounting bolts are not straight across from each other
as they are on the half track.
They are almost at a diagonal.
Is this not a scout car pump?
Thanks,
Keith

Don't forget there is an adaptor piece that goes on the halftrack before the fuel pump. The mounting flanges on the fuel pumps should be the same.

A scout car uses a hercules engine while a halftrack uses a white engine. So there will be several differences in the pumps just like a ford and chevy most parts won't interchange.

Attached is a photo of the adapter.
The bolts in the mounting flange for the pump are horizontal.
As you can see from the photo in my previous message, the mount on the pumps I had are more diagonal,
much like the on the block side of the adapter...but a smaller/reversed pattern.
I'm sure the fellow I sold them to will let me know if they aren't what he expected and I will gladly
refund his $$$.
Thanks,
Keith

I was told wrong I guess.
