What are you guys that are making your tanks using to coat the outside of the tank and how thick are you making it. Thanks.

I took my new tanks to Arma Coatings and they put a 1/4 inch thick covering on them. When I went to install them with the correct wood backing and bottom the tanks didn't fit. I had to leave the backing out and was able to keep the bottom piece. I recommend to check fit with wood pieces and cover before putting on a rubber coat. It might save a headache or two afterwards.
Here is a link to the info on the wood pieces if you didn't know about them.

What do you think of using something like Rhino Lining on the tanks?
Asking for a friend (before I make a mistake...) :-D

That is make I did to mine. It was either Rhino liner or some other bed/undercoating. Even with that along with the backing board, it was tight putting the cover on.

I came across a half used roll of ice dam from some roof repair I did awhile back. It’s a rubber material with an adhesive side. I’ll post a pic when I try it
