Title: Holes behind the winch
Post by: spillmk1 on August 29, 2019, 12:17:03 PM
Has probably been asked before but if so I can't find the topic...

What are the four holes behind the winch for?
Two on each side.
Almost like a cover plate goes there....but never seen a photo of one.
Even visible on M2's with winches coming off assembly line.

Thanks!!
Keith

The four holes on top of the frame would have been used to rivet the frame extensions for the roller.

OK...looking closer at some photos I can see that now that you pointed it out.
So they all kind of started out as roller models and the winch was an "option"?
Thanks for the info!!
