Title: Engine gaskets help needed.
Post by: kw573 on October 04, 2019, 04:19:21 AM
Hi all,

I am in need of some specific engine related information and am hoping someone can help me.
I need to have some certified asbestos-free engine gaskets made (unless someone knows where I can buy some.)

To suit the White 190AX, I need an accurate tracing of:
- head gasket
- manifold gasket
- exhaust flange gasket (or sizes and description)
- hot box gasket

Also, the sizes for the 2 exhaust manifold "arm" sealing rings.

This odd request is to assist the compliance of a vehicle in a zero-asbestos-tolerance country. The tracings will enable me to make, or have made the gaskets needed.

T.I.A.

Sam.

You don't have to worry about the lifter cover gaskets as they are cork, and the seal rings that are used where the 3 pieces of the exhaust manifold come together are steel rings similar to piston rings.

The sealing rings are 2 3/8 x5/32. I picked them up from and engine shop that specializes in older engines. Otto gas engine.

Hello,
I have gone with Olsens Gaskets who can make the non-asbestos gaskets I need.
Thanks.
Sam.

Sam,

I have a used head gasket that I can mail to Olsons for you. That would be more accurate than a tracing.

Just let me know.
