Title: right seat info needed

My right front seat base has what looks like the remainder of a stud that is broken off on the side. Can anyone tell me what this is for? Also looking for a picture of one.

Could it be the remnants of the screw for the seat bracket?

Thanks for the info. There is the remnants of possibly a rivet in the side of the seat. There is no bracket but the cut out is in the floor for one.
