Is there any difference between a M3 rail and one from a M3A1?

If your talking about rail for gun, I’m no expert but I don’t think there is one on M3s

I've been researching this as I need to fab one up. I think the rail itself is the same, but there may be some differences in hole locations for canvas supports, etc.

You know you can look at mine anytime.  It started out as an M3 and then it was converted over to a M3A1.
