Can anyone confirm that when reassembling the clutch, the wood blocks used between the flywheel ring and the throwout bearing are ⅜” thick, as per TM 9-1711? The blocks used for the disassembly are ¾”, not ⅜” and the blocks shown in Fig. 12 sure look more like ¾ than ⅜. Is it a typo or is ⅜ a good number?

Thanks again Paul. I used that info for the removal and it didn't make sense that 3/8" would be used to go back in. I appreciate the help! I hope you guys are well too. Just have to lay low for a while, I guess.

I have the engine and transmission separted. I did not put any blocks between the throw out bearing and cutch. I need some info on how to replace the throw out bearing. Thanks

The info you need is in TM 9-710 and TM 9-1711. I think you can see them both online as a pdf.
