Title: Bumper numbers
Post by: Ma Deuce on March 19, 2021, 04:19:05 PM
Last year a friend gave me a 84th Division Rail Splitter uniform so I decided to mark my vehicle to honor the 84th as a reconnaissance unit.

Very nice! Having a unit that means something to you is great, especially if you have a story to go with it. I used the unit I served in the 70’s 8th Infantry 12 th Engineers.

Great job!!
Looks really great.

Agree with above statement...nice to have markings with a story.

My dad was in WWII in the 71st Infantry/Company I in Europe.
He said they always appreciated catching rides with the armored divisions whenever they could.

My research showed the 10th armored/54th infantry was in the same areas as dad was around the same times.

So I marked mine for them.....as well as B-71......B for Bertha and 71 since dad in the 71st infantry.
