Title: Halftrack Thompson Box

Hi guys, I have an original Thompson box for a halftrack and was wondering how it fits? Is there a mounting bracket or does it fix straight to the armour? I’m planning on fitting it in my M5, I know it’s not right but I have it on the shelf without trying to source and international bracket.

The Thomson ammo box is held in by 2 L shaped brackets bolted to wall with flip catch on top to hold box in place

After a lot of moving the box around and trying to make it fit, I have come to the conclusion that it’s more hassle than it’s worth. How much do you think it is worth as it could potentially be for sale soon if I could find the correct bracket for an M5?

How does the gun fit in the box with all the slots, or is it for the magazines for the gun?

The gun sits in the 2 clamps on front of the box. The magazines fit inside the box.
