Title: Tachometer sticker
Post by: 67tank on August 27, 2021, 09:13:13 AM
So my tach sticker/print has decided to peel up and on-top of itself.  Anyone making this or can point me in the right direction?

Darryl Lennane in NZ has them on ebay:

I have his stickers on my speedometer and my oil px gauge and they're holding up fine so far.

Hi Pat,
Did you clear coat the decal once it was on and dried? This is what I did with model kit decals back in the day.

Thanks for the connect to NZ.  Ordered one and after a very slow boat ride across the pond - it finally arrived.  Easy to take the tach apart and install the new sticker.  Steve - I did not clear coat it.  Its not a water slide decal - was adhesive backed and am not sure if putting a clear coat on it would be a really good idea.
I may order a spare decal from NZ just in case.

Thanks for assist

You're very welcome Pat. I didn't do anything with mine, clear coat-wise either. Just applied them and assembled the instrument. They look great.
