What canvass? AFAIK, M16 didn’t have a hood or door canvass. There was a cover for the Maxson, cover for the winch and of course seats. Or are you wanting to retro fit some kind of half cover over the cab?

Yes, just over the cab.  If you google M16 halftrack you'll see a lot with a cab canvas.  I need to see how it was attached to the bow.

I don’t think it was an original fit, so any fitted probably aren’t to a standard design, which would leave you to do it how you’d like to. I’ve seen a few in the U.K., one was for sale recently with some close ups, but it didn’t have the tombstone rack and radio table. That meant they could fit footman loops on the back of the bulkhead to strap the canvass to. The top bow wasn’t very ‘in keeping’ with the vehicle.

This one has the bows attached to the lower part of the perimeter rail.
