Title: Hood numbers

It’s been gone over lightly but anyone have feed back on how to figure out the numbers or what they mean.

I believe Kevin Lockwood has a formula, it may be posted on the G. It was in post that listed the halftracks serial number and hood numbers. If yours went through a rebuild it could be stamped on the outside of the bogie frame, right side. Some have been stamped on the front bumper gusset plate, also on the right side.
