What is an M3A2?

The Ord 9 shows an M3A2 but I’ve never read anything about them.

The final version of the M3 or another way to describe it is an improved M3A1 that never reached production status. I was told by someone who should know that there was a pre-production survivor in Karl Smith's collection in Utah. It supposedly had a T number on the data plate and when it was turned over it was stamped M3A2 on the back.
