Title: brake control dash wiring terminal placement?
Post by: mfrance on October 20, 2023, 03:20:19 PM
can anyone give me the color or wire # that goes to what terminals on each side of dash brake control are?

anyone also have a good photo of restored dash from backside with all wires and gauges in before they reinstalled into halftrack?

I choose to leave the brake controller both electrically and mechanically disconnected on a halftrack. Anyone ever pull a trailer that used that type of brakes? The system is unfused. Both controller reostats are  on the fragile side. Mechanically, if something were to seize or get stuck in the controller, you wouldn’t be able to apply brakes at all. Leave it all disconnected. Eye candy only.

Hello Michael
If you have one of my M2 Base Shop Data Books the answer is in there, section 77. It shows the color , gauge and length of the wire. Hope this helps.
