while i still think my cow picking halftrack is the most unusual farmer modification, this trencher is a close second.

Wow...that rig looks heavy! Look at how bad the back end is squatting down. I imagine there wouldn't be much salvageable from that if someone got their hands on it. Maybe one fender....and the from rims.
AND, those don't even look like the right tracks...something from a trackhoe maybe?

It's incredible what these old girls had to put up with after they did their service time, one I saw had a cable operated back hoe on it,I talked to the old guy and he told me he put the water line in to an airport that was on top of a mesa, he hooked the front of the half-track to a D-8 cat on top of the hill and lowered himself over the edge, a rough rocky slope of at least 45 degrees, those old guys had huge ones!
