i was able to purchase a few more tanks from the littlefield museum before before they donated everything to the collins foundation.
the first one is a general motors XM1, prototype for the abrams tank
this is the only known survivor.

next is an m48 tank. but not just any m48, this is the first one built, serial number 1

Tanks are uber cool as well

Nice, for some reason I have really come to like the tank recovery vehicles.
-
the deal took almost a year to be approved. very stressful to have an expensive deal hanging there there for so long.
they have 3 halftracks there plus parts. im sure some halftracks and parts will go to auction.
they also had 3 halftrack chassis in very rough shape but i was told they where sold. i have heard alot of stuff that changed though.

Another great catch Steve! I like the tank recovery vehicle the best. Now you have something to put on your Dragon Wagon. ;D Are you still going to complete your M16? I hope to see that at Tower Park this Spring.

I like the M32 too. And that XM-1 is too cool. I'm surprised it's not in an armor museum somewhere…or with GM.
