That's the problem with the movie industry….a lot of time they don't know any better or just don't care. And, they have no idea what it actually takes to get something right when restoring a vehicle so what took them hours to destroy took someone else days/months/years to get right. I'm sure there were a dozen other vehicles that were in way worse shape that would have been a better starter vehicle for what they needed. But oh well, the damage is done.
And I love the snatch and roll method with the 88 (not really). That piece is not common, and I certainly wouldn't have used that method to get it in place.

I just talked with Hans and he is not destroying his half track, but changing it to a "more original" configuration. He also mentioned something about needing to access something to repair it. Have no fear he will be putting it all back the way it should be when he is finished.

Where are those guys at? Looks like my area! Didn't hear much of an accent so I don't think they are foreign! Looks horrible but I can understand what they are doing.
