 Steve,
Thanks for this post. I have several original and a couple repop covers. Anyone have extra or close repop of the special screw that holds the panel on??

What does the screw look like? I used wing nuts.

McMaster-Carr calls them a "wing head thumb screw", but I searched wing bolt and came up with them.

I saw this in the Base Shop Data manual and it seems like I saw another similar picture or drawing somewhere that showed the same style of thumb screw, but I don't remember where:

This is from Grainger and I have a few left if anyone else wants a couple.

This is an old thread, but any chance you have an extra cover plate for sale before I go and have one made?

Also, can anyone provide the thumb screw length, size and tpi so I can order a couple? Worst case, I’ll run a few different taps into the box I have and see if I can match one up.

Thanks, Tom

Tom - The screws have a 5/16-18 thread and the length is 3/4".
