That is pretty funny Steve. You gave me a good chuckle for the day!
I just had to check out the link to satisfy my suspicion of who was selling a $500 fan belt........ I was puzzled when I saw who the seller actually was and didn't quite get it until I got into the description section.
Thanks for all your FREE information and endless hours of work that have connected so many people and their passion on the site.

looks more like "free" advertising to me! heck of a deal on a junk belt that don't work. love it! :D

I figured it might be someone else we all know! I'll have to go back and print off all that data,I have bits and pieces from over the years but it would be nice to have it all together! Nice piece of wood thought!

I started to look for a half track back in 2001 when I was in the NAVY. Back then they where cheap. So when I did get mine in 2009 I was surprised at the lack of information out there. But since you put up your site the community has really stepped up and I have a darn good portion of my M2 laid out in CAD. Incredible what one person with selfless motives can accomplish for such an old hobby. Thanks a lot Steve. keep it up.

i really appreciate your thanks of my efforts.
i also remember back in 2009 and before this site.
information for halftracks was nonexistent. you could ask on the G for something as simple as a spark plug number and you would be told to contact the halftack parts dealer. it drove me crazy.
i also really like that the members here are easy going.
people can advertise there parts for sale and not worry about upsetting anyone.

Steve, I too would like to thank you for this site, it is so nice to communicate with all the like-minded guys on here. Mechanical guys, guys that know how to make stuff and how to make stuff work.

The best thing about the site is I check it every day and there is some thing new added! I wish there was more I could add!
