Hello, after 4 weeks, The transmission is drained and Top Cover is off again. Transmission looks pretty clean and I don't see anything out of the ordinary. The Top Cover looks pretty good, Nothing broken or damaged. The 3-4 rail is stiff compared to the other 2 so I am soaking it with WD-40 and working it back and forth with a small Brass hammer and today I will remove the shifter and try to move the 3-4 Fork Back and Forth on the Rail. I worked at a Heavy Truck shop in the 90's and the owner is going to come over later in the week and look at it! While it has been soaking, I have been replacing from the Master Cylinder back with all new Steel lines and Rubber hoses. While there, I have been Power Wire brushing section at a time and painting it. It is an Early Lot 5 Truck and everything underneath and in the Deep cracks and crevices it appears to have left the factory painted Lusterless Black, Not OD like every other Military Vehicle I have owned! Any Thoughts? Thanks.
