I have a French manufactured Halftrack/Scoutcar speedometer for sale.
I bought this at a swap meet in Europe last year for my Scout Car restoration but in the meantime I have now almost restored a US made speedometer so it is no longer required.
The speedo does appear to work fine but it will need a wee bit of a tidy-up. I have had the faceplate off and it needs a new rubber gasket inside which I figure should be able to be made fairly easily.
The speed numbers are painted on the glass lens on these. Both these and the lines on the faceplate will need repainting in red. You should be able to shadow the numbers and lines that are still there without too many problems.
Apart from that it appears to be in good condition.
This might be a good low cost option for someone restoring a halftrack or scout car, or even a temporary option while you restore your US made speedo.
