Fuel line source
« on: August 20, 2017, 01:33:07 PM »
Does anyone have a source for the flex line that runs from the hard line on the frame to the fuel pump inlet.  5/16 Male(1/2-20 nut) swivel flare on one end, 5/16 flare Female on the other.  Would like new, not NOS.
Thanks.

I can get one made for you. What is the overall length? Let me know if you want this done.

It should be close but fittings might be a little different and hose diameter might be a little thicker. My supplier does some great work like the lines he made for the oil gauge pressure flex lines he made a while back. The best way is to send me your original and I will get one made up. If you like it, buy it or I will keep the new line and send yours back.

Can you post a length on the hose?

Thanks

you can get hoses made at Napa usually
but most hose shops will make a crushed looking crimp on a farel that is to long.

go to  www.summitracing.com
put in your hose dimensions in there site search

you may try something like I listed here

Hi Steve,
Are you having multiples made of this? I just have a hard line running to my pump, but would appreciate a flexible one...

Hi All,
I'm getting some requests for these lines. That's fine. I can have more made, no problem. I made this line for autocar925. Applications may vary depending how your setup is. I know for me I will need a much longer line. I have a frame mounted fuel filter as in the manual (these were added on later). From the filter to the fuel pump is much longer than the 11.75" for autocar925's line. I need a longer line. Check to see if this is correct before ordering from me. I can have a longer or shorter lines made. I'm even thinking of a braided line for me. For those who have requested a line from me already, send me another request letting me know the length is ok and I will get them made. The lines as/is are $10.00 and $15.00 shipping.
