what to write in a contract when renting out your mv
« on: January 19, 2014, 10:19:54 AM »
I thought i'd start this tread apart from renting your mv to hollywood.

I would like to hear from other mv owners on what kind of contract and what was stated when they rented to movies,re-enactments etc. I have a few orgs that want to rent my halftrack for static shows so I need to have some sort of contract on my end,

i think the most important item would be to have them add you as an additional insured on there insurance policy.
there insurance policy will then cover you and it usually doesn't cost them much if anything to do.

For the static display, if you are not going to be there be sure to have them have security for it.   We did a display for an amusement park last year for 4 days over the 4th of July and required them to rope the vehicles off and provide security while the park was open.
