Halftrack Idler Pivot Post Removal
« on: October 25, 2014, 04:59:34 PM »
I am at the point of removing the frame posts that support the rear idler pivot on my halftrack. I have managed to remove the retaining nuts and now wanting to know how the posts can be pushed out of their frame housings?

10 ton Porta power hydraulic ram is one option I am looking at, or is there another way of doing it.

Scott.

Scott, watch you don't tweak your frame will pushing it out. Make sure to have a rosebud handy. Heat is your friend.
