WANTED 2-1/2" armor bolts
« on: February 12, 2015, 12:53:32 AM »
So, I will be needing at least 2 armor bolts that are 2-1/2" in length to mount the X-brace to the radiator armor. I measures and this is what I need to get a nut on. If I can't find any plan B will be milling 2 bolts, plan C will be adding an extension to an existing bolt to get the length. Any help it greatly appriciated. ;D

Steve-
Will these work? My metric conversion is a little rusty. He also goes by airborne-53 over on the 'G'.

Let me check the coffee cans. If none there I may have a pair on the M5 cadaver.

2.5" from bottom or top of head?

Hey Steve,
Easy way to take care of this is weld a piece of all thread to the end of a regular bolt to get the length you need. I did that to make mine for the cross brace on my radiator.

Nothing that long in the hell can and the 2 bolts are present on the [unmolested?] M5 but they used hex heads on just those two long ones.

Maybe IH had a hard time finding them also.
