Just picked up a 1943 M16 Half-track.  I'll be needing a few items and have already spoken with a few people so far about them.  As of right now, I know I need the following:

1. Front tombstone ammo box floor brackets and footman loop brackets.
2. Grenade boxes for both sides.
3. The two large boxes for the rear of the track
4. Thompson Box and what ever went on the other side in the same location.
5. head light storage bracket (I have the guard) for behind the driver's location
6. Radio box for a SCR-610 (I know that if the 528 is installed, only 8 ammo boxes are stored on floor vs 10, what about with a 510 or 610?)
7. Pale storage bracket for rear of track
8. M1903 Rifle and Carbine brackets for front compartment
9. Driver side door lock and a few other parts.
10. Windshield, either nos or original
11. I would welcome any recommendations of parts that you see missing in the pictures below that I haven't accounted for.

Questions about this track:
1. Does anyone have a list of what sized armor bolts and nuts where where on the track. Would like to make sure I get them right.  I have a bucket of about 200 original parked armor bolts, can't remember size right now.
2. What ring(s) are required for the M45 Quad?  I'm looking for the correct height as I've seen some that were way too tall, looked like they used as many rings as they could b/c they thought it looked cool.
3. Lots more questions to be added here as I move forward.

Pictures:

What is this for, looks like for the headlights to be stored or for a spare pair of them?

That's where it came from, was originally going after the M20 as I'm more of an armored car guy, but went higher than I thought it was worth so backed out at 25K.  I was interested in the half-track now that the track situation has been solved by one group and I heard another one is about to come online.  Went through a box of parts I found these two items:

The four count ammo can bracket, is that with a radio or without, in the manual, it says that I'm supposed to have 10 boxes on board or 8 with the radio.  How many boxes do I need with a radio or without.  I know 4 on quad, 4 in back side of track (two on each side) and the four you mention on the front, that's 8 stored, where do the other 2 go?

Four on bracket next to radio.    Four on quad. Four in the rear corners.    Then some times they double up the rear ones in pictures you will see the six in rear, 3 on each inside corner.   Good book to get are David doyle us halftracks volume one part 2 a lot of great original photos
