Does anyone have a good source for having the front shocks rebuilt?
Thanks

I had mine done a year or so ago. The type of shocks that a halftrack uses are called Houdaille rotary shock absorbers. I'm told if they are frozen they are not rebuildable. I'm not sure if this is true or not. I was recommended that if I needed some rebuilt to go to Apple Hydraulics in Calverton, NY. Here is their site:

They did a great job restoring mine. They cost $400 including shipping.

Strongly recommend Apple Hydraulics!
They just rebuilt mine--very well done and not expensive.
