PORTRAYAL PRESS CLOSING
« on: August 15, 2012, 09:42:46 PM »
Just got the latest MV magazine and on page 36 is a full page ad stating that Portrayal Press is closing its doors permanently due to health reasons. This is sad news for all of us.  Not sure on the health problems he is facing but want to wish Dennis Spence well. All is for sale. No mention of anyone else taking the business over. This my be our last chance for high quality reproduction manuals. Just wanted to pass the news along.

Greetings folks:

My name is Patrick Tipton and I am the new owner of Portrayal Press.  I took the business over in January of this year and have been working hard to get caught up.  We have been working on getting new manuals printed and working on a new catalog and website.  Like a restoration project, it is taking a lot more time than expected, but coming along one little victory at a time.

I am working on an GPW/MB motorpool right now, but I have wanted a half-track since I was old enough to know what one was. It is on my quest list.

We have lots of great manuals on most models of the half-track, including the IH.

Give us a call @ 855-339-0382 or sales@portrayal.com if we can be helpful.

Regards, Patrick
