here are the details of the original carburetor return spring.

overall length 14"
wire size .54
diameter .375
hook end   2 1/2" long
hook end   5/8" long

the following will need to be modified to match

mcmaster also has a tag washer that is similar to the original that will work.
its about twice as thick as the original.
this would be on the carburetor mount stud.
