Looks great, is it an older restoration or original condition military release? Too bad about that roller!

thats a good looking halftrack

you have a "Zenith" Model 63-AW-14R, updraft if its original

this is the only carb kit for that i could find

the engine and front differential are the same as used in the m5 international trucks.
i think the transmission is the same as used in the white halftracks.

i have a 450 red diamond engine for that if you need one

I stock lots of zenith kits BUT the model 63 has several different ones. There should be another number on a tag or stamped , not cast, into the carb. Most zeniths were five digit i.e. 13567. I have several kits for the 63 under $50.00.

According to the Haugh book the first M9A1's were accepted in March 1943 with a total of 3,433 being built in 1943. After this production run no further M9A1's were built so yours must be a 1943. The book also says no M9's were made only M9A1's since the original M9 was supposed to have a skate rail and by the time production started it had been recommended to use the m49 ring instead. Can't help with hood numbers that's all I have.

With very few other vehicles to support this the math is iffy but since you have a ord number I would guess the hood number as 4069421.
