location of fire extinguisher in m16 halftracks

does anyone know the location of the fire extinguisher in the M16A2 halftrack?

i see a blurry pic in one manual which puts it on passenger side under the dash but there are no mounting holes in that location.
i have also heard it was located on the bulkhead to the right of the passenger seat but again there are no mounting holes.
i have seen one pic of andys m16 which puts it on the bulkhead to the right of the center seat but the holes there dont match the mounts i have.


any ideas or pics of originals?

I just found a 1944 CO2 type that matches the picture in one of the halftrack manuals so I could use mounting info also.

Steve/Bud,
  Per TM 9-710, the "Extinguisher, fire (2-lb CO2) and bracket assembly" are located "Right of the driver's seat" for M16s.

I found holes that matched on my HT that still has the M16A1 bulkhead in it.
