Title for halftrack

Finally have a title for my halftrack- it says "White 4x4 pickup truck"

I got one awhile ago, listed as a 4x4 6cyl 2door pickup. This was the dmv that chose those lol. I havnt driven it on the road yet, just finished it a few months ago, and living outside of town on acreage im still happy putting around home. For insurance hagerty does halftracks

 I never bother to get a title, my half-track only goes into town a couple times a year for parades and none of the cops have ever asked if it was titled, if I wanted too I could goes through the bonded title procedure,here in AZ that's the easiest way,I've done it on many vehicles before, now insurance would probably be a good idea, that worries me every time I go into town, it's real easy to mess up another car if you aren't very careful, especially in the M-2,it's impossible to see anything backing up!

My understanding is that if it is titled as a motor vehicle you will need to have insurance the same as any other vehicle like a car or truck. If it is not titled it is treated the same as a farm tractor which does not need to be titled or insured. It should then be covered under the farm liability section of my homeowners insurance.

I have displayed tractors at the minnesota state fair as a paid exibitor and they require a 2,000,000 liability rider in your policy. In my case if the halftrack could be considered as farm machinery and it would be covered as such.

This was the inpression I was under after talking to the local Police also.

However if there ever was an accident I think it would be very tough to try to convince anyone that a halftrack was used for modern day farming.

This info is only my opinion based on what I have found out by talking to the local police. I have not decided what I am going to do yet. Probably title, collector plates and car insurance on mine.

 I had my insurance guy figure up a number for me, it was only $175 a year, because they don't figure you are going to be driving it very much anyhow, and if you are driving you are going to be very careful, if I drove it anymore then I do I would get the insurance since it was comprehensive and covered theft and fire.

My Title said Diamond T / Arm. I have a title and a plate now. Police don't mess with you during parades but if you were driving by your self they want to see the plates and your insurance card. I have Hagerty but I'm insuring for everything!

In Missouri it's a bit of a pain to get a title. (I've never done it, but there does exist a process for a bonded title, but limits weight and value of vehicle)
Has anyone had a recent experience (good or bad) with any of the title services? I used to use Broadway, and Titles Unlimited with great success, but that was years ago when the states were much more lax with their out of state titles.

One more thing to think about b4 going to register. Up here in Ontario Canada there is also a limit to passengers, if you exceed a certain capacity, you need a different drivers lic to transport (like a bus) I was lucky the max seating in an M2 was just short or the extra Lic needed for a bus type
