Does anyone have a picture of the floor support beneath the pedestal for the 50 cal MG?

Bud,
That is actually part of the floor. If you buy the floor kit from Outsider it is included. Go to this link http://halftrackinfo.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=4sl87o3fjivc4kiij8q3dgmtm6&topic=375.90 it shows some photos of Don's halftrack and shows the mount in question in some of them.

The bracket mounts to the track armor. There is also a bracket ties into the front bulkhead cross member. I'll see if I can get some pictures.

many thanks Don. I think I see what you are talking about. it appears to have a circular depression that would just fit the base of the pedestal.

The circular hole is just through the floor plate with the support directly under neath.
