Dose anyone have or know how to decode the serial number on these Halftracks? Is it sequential starting from 1?
1941 White M2
1941 Chevrolet G506 Civilian Dash
1941 Federal 94-43 4-5 Ton COE
1918 3 Ton Field Gun Trailer

The White Truck assigned serial number starts in the 229xxx range for half-tracs. This was built as a M2. I own 232356 just a few units behind yours. Unfortunately the frame number does not allow us to derive the ordnance number which only appears on the data plate or the hood registration number which is derived from the ord number.
Where is 232339 located? i.e. State or country. I will add this to the list on g503. Are you planning a restoration?

1941 White M2
1942 White M4A1 was M4
1942 Autocar M2A1
1942 Autocar M3-75
1943 White M13 rebuilt as M16
1943 Diamond T M3A1

Wisconsin, USA and yes I am undergoing restoration on it. I will make it a fully functional M2 and cosmetically correct!
