French M16 Un-cut Back In Az

My guy imported this over a year ago. They had been using it as a rocket launcher of some sort. If you look at the engine pic you can see the French placard. Painted desert tan at one time, and then painted in it's present coat by them for museum display. I built a wiring harness to go over the mess that was there. All lights and things work. New clutch, brake booster, master cyl and frt wheel cylinders. Too much more to mention. That's my creation for the M3 tripod mount. This will be at Big Sandy next weekend with a M2 mounted as well as a 1919 full auto of course.

Cal that is a sweet ride! Just paid my 1st visit to Cave Creek while driving thru recently, did not get an opportunoty to sample the suds or the burgers, maybe next time!
I like seeing those Michelin Invincible tires ... I have a set on my A2, been on the wheels since 54 and even after sitting in the desert for 50 plus years they are still holding up. One he!! of a combat tire in its day.
THREAD HIJACK /
UPDATE: Kevin (COL Halftrack), Unfortunately I have nor been on the not been site for 7+ years. A bud in Italy pointed me this way on another matter! Hey I still have that fuel tank
Graduated from school in PA and retired to Prescott AZ, this last year. Moved most everything here except 2 M37s and a scout car, limited room until I downsize a bit ... Queen is running like a champ, and the Quad mount is waiting for the last finishing touches so I can put it back on the Queen. All of that as soon as I finish restoring some of those M10 WWII Ammo Trailers I rescued ...that's part of the downsize mission.
Pic of part of my shop and my
addiction
