Lots and lots of penetrating oil down the spark plug holes. Fill each to the top. Diesel fuel cut 50/50 with transmission fluid works great, just make sure to drain the fluids and oil from the engine once its unstuck.  As for the head, try a heavy rubber mallet and tap each side of the head.  The head can crack if you blow it too hard with a sledge hammer. Hopefully it comes loose otherwise make an adapter thats the same size as the spark plug and insert a bolt into two holes, you can use those to pull it off.   Avoid using a torch if at all possible for fear of cracking the head.  Hope this helps.

The engine is not stuck it runs, but my head won't come off, even tried starting with the bolts out.

Did it start?  I would put penetrating oil on the three bolts that broke off also if any part of their shaft is still on the head.  The rusted bolt shaft could be helping to hold the head on.I used a block of wood and 3lb hammer to loosen mine.  You could also feed a rope into the cylinder far enough for it to fill it up and manually turn the motor using the piston to push the rope against the head pushing it up.  I have done this with other engines.

won't that damage the connecting rods?

If you are afraid. Take the wrench, put it on the shaft and turn it by hand.

If you bend a rod turning it by hand you must be a pretty big guy.
