Sand blasting
« on: December 08, 2019, 06:09:58 AM »
I haven’t gotten much sand blasted on my track except for one piece and it was reasonable. Went to the same blaster year and a half later wanted 450 for two fenders and two frame extension. I know I’m cheap but that seemed way to expensive for me. Can’t seem to find guys in my are to do it. What are you guy paying for piece work. Thanks

In the process of getting quotes to have my M10 trailer sandblasted...so far they range from $450-$950 for the entire trailer.  Most of the places around San Diego do a lot of US Gov’t work (Navy) and couple the jobs with powder coating, so I’m small fry to them which may be why some of the quotes are on the high end.

For comparison, the tub itself is ~5’x5’, with the whole trailer (tub, frame, axle, etc) ~170 sqft.

Have you ever tried wet blasting yourself with a pressure washer? It works great if you have a pressure washer about 4000 psi and 4 gallons a minute. NO Dust!
