The time has come to move my halftrack to a new owner, it's been a 15 year project. Loved every moment.
1943 White M2A1 Halftrack. $50,000
Located Orange Co. Virginia
Complete frame off nut and bolt restoration over 10yr period.
All armor from the vertical posts behind the front doors forward is original. The rear troop compartment side and rear vertical armor and pulpit armor are reproduction (Gary Hebding). The rear bed, steps and bustle racks are original. One mine rack is original, the other is reproduction.

Israeli tracks, very little wear, all boogie wheels are original and good.
Correct new 8.25 x 20 tires, tubes and flaps on original combat rims.
Motor completely rebuild with new crank, pistons (.20 over), rings and bearings. NOS oil pump, distributor, water pump, fuel pump, generator, clutch and pressure plate.
NOS radiator.
NOS Exhaust system.
Rebuild transmission / transfer case.
All new brakes, wheel cylinders, lines and hoses. Rebuilt original hydrovac. Brake fluid is silicon.
Drive axle, and front axle gone through with new seals.
Rear track suspension rebuilt, grease zerk fittings added to crabs and boogie suspension arms.
All new wiring (Vintage Wiring or Maine), still a few small electrical details to finish.
Original M49 ring with carriage, .30 / .50 combination cradle and ammo can feed tray holder. The M2 .50 cal MG is a movie prop reproduction (not resin), it looks nice but is fragile. If the purchaser wants this, it will be included.
Three pintle sockets around the troop compartment perimeter rail. Included will be a second .30 / .50 combination cradle, this one is missing the ammo feed tray holder.
Thompson SMG bracket (Dummy Thompson M1A1 included) along the perimeter rail and two pair of M2 tripod brackets on the rear steps. These are the correct style for the M1919 tripods, not the earlier M1917 tripod.
Two functional 30 gallon steel fuel tanks with original threaded fuel caps. The outer fuel tank covers are original.
All interior seats are original, new canvas upholstery.
All dash gauges are original or rebuilt. The VOLTAGE gauge is an original, but not functional.
Numerous WW2 style .30 cal & .50 cal ammo cans.
Fuel / water Jerry cans and Wooden crates on Bustle rack
5 M1A1 anti-tank mines (one original training mine and four high quality reproduction mines)
The only work remaining is the windshield wiper arms and vacuum lines need to be completed. Both windshield wiper motors are NOS.
